Featuring the best high school seniors from four states on one of the best 5k courses in the Midwest.

The Mid-East Cross Country Championships presents the best 12 high school men & women senior runners from Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and other area states. In past years Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and West Virgina have participated.

The event provides an excellent regional forum that supports athletes and college coaches looking for new talent.  It is sponsored by the members of the Greater Dayton Track and Cross Country Officials Association and the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches. The race has been held annually since 1987.

The 2023 running of the Mid East Cross Country Championships will be held on Saturday, November 18th at Indian Riffle Park, Kettering, Ohio (see map below). Please note, there are two ways to enter the park — on E. Dorothy Lane and via E. Stroop Rd. The Dorothy Lane entrance has more parking access and is closer to where the awards ceremony is held.
